On the basis of the “NCE” branch in the Kyzylorda region a seminar was held on the topic: “Laboratory diagnosis of anthrax”.

The workshop was attended by the heads of the branch, the head of the department of especially dangerous infections of the Consumer Rights Protection Department of the KZPP MNE RK in the Kyzylorda region, specialists from the laboratory of especially dangerous infections of the Branch, and bacteriologists of the regional departments.

The seminar participants listened and discussed the lecture material presented by the head of the laboratory for especially dangerous infections on laboratory diagnostics of anthrax in accordance with the “Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for organizing and conducting sanitary and anti-epidemic (preventive) measures for the prevention of especially dangerous infectious diseases”, approved by order of the Ministry of National Economy RK dated 02.25.15 No. 136.

On the territory of the Kyzylorda region there are 60 permanently dysfunctional points (SNP), from which soil samples are taken annually and delivered to the laboratory of especially dangerous infections for investigation by serological, bacteriological and genetic methods. In this regard, the discussion raised the question of conducting the preanalytical stage of the laboratory process, as well as the need for compliance of the delivered samples with rejection criteria.
