Kazakhstan's experience with the Codex Alimentarius system was presented to graduate students at the S. Seifullin Kazan State Technical University.

At the invitation of the Institute of Animal and Veterinary Sciences of the S. Seifullin National Agrarian University of Kazan, Professor N.M. Karsybekova, Doctor of Medical Sciences, gave a lecture and a practical session for master's students in the educational program 7MO9102 "Food Safety and Quality" as part of the course "Codex Alimentarius in Food Expertise."

During the lecture, she discussed the structure of the Codex Alimentarius Commission, as well as its goals, objectives, and the process for developing international standards. Particular attention was paid to the importance of Kazakhstan's active participation in the development of these standards across all Codex platforms and in various committee sessions.

Professor Karsybekova shared Kazakhstan's experience as Chair of the FAO/WHO Coordinating Committee for Europe, noting the significant achievements and results of our country's work as Regional Coordinator.

The Interdepartmental Coordination Council on Codex Alimentarius Issues is designed to strengthen interdepartmental cooperation in the field of food safety, harmonize technical regulations in accordance with international requirements and World Trade Organization (WTO) standards, facilitate the work of the relevant committees of the Codex Alimentarius Commission, and shape national positions in the development of international food standards and their protection at the international level.

During the practical session, master's students discussed the possibility of using Codex Alimentarius documents in their dissertations.
